Thank you Harry's for helping TellTale
MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

You've probably seen food guru Alton Brown putting together some
"Good Eats" at Harry's Farmers Market on television, but on
Tuesday, April 6 TellTale Theatre was honored to bring live theatre
to the aisles. Each quarter, Harry's Farmers Market chooses an
organization to be the recipient for their 5% Community Giving Day
and Marietta’s own TellTale Theatre was selected for this last
quarter. On community giving days, 5% of the day's total net sales
are donated to the selected organization. Customers in the
community are able to help support the organization just by
shopping on that day. "I think the work TellTale does in the
community is a great fit" says Martha Oh, Harry's director of
marketing and community relations. "We look not only for a recipient,
but also an organization to come out to the store and tell the story
about who they are and what they do for the community." TellTale is
not shy about telling stories, so they eagerly accepted the invitation. When they received word of their selection,
they knew that adding a little drama to the day was just the touch to help spark the community’s attention to
come out and shop. The TellTale actors presented live family shows to the customers throughout the day right in
the produce aisle and the fruits of the day proved record setting.  TellTale Theatre was presented their 5%
earnings check recently for almost $3,500, one of the largest earning organizations to date for Harry’s Farmers
Market in Marietta. “This is such a great way for a company to contribute to a local organization,” says TellTale
director John Schmedes. “It is not only a much needed and appreciated monetary gift for us, but the opportunity
for our organization to interact with such a large part of the community is valuable beyond words.  It is by far the
best way we can continue to encourage others to support our mission of dramatizing vital social themes and
positive character traits for the young minds and open hearts of the community, or as we call it, ‘Imagination
Education.’”

The day was a great success.
Thank you to all who came out shopping.
